Questions about this court case and an I-Bond?
My boyfriend has a court date the 26th of this month for the crime of property ownership (his sister was in the emergency room nurses tried to get him out and he refused, until he comes to see her sister, which allow you to, and called the police on him). He was locked up, given the bond of $ 100, but the jailer called me and said that erupted in an I-Bond. This is his first arrest when he was a very clean record before that date. Criminal Trespass is a Class B misdemeanor, and I wonder what will be most likely to happen with him, and what is the deal with the I-Bond, nobody told us too. He did not hit or a bad thing when he was arrested, he was calm and quiet. This occurred in Cook County, Illinois. Links would be very useful! Thank you.
Several attempts to find an answer on the site were unsuccessful Illinois. You can better luck calling his PO (parole officer) in the court or a local lawyer who handles criminal cases. If he has a criminal record, probably few things happen. The charge may be dismissed by the hospital, or you can admit sufficient facts and the case was continued for six months or a year without finding and will be rejected at this stage if you have no other arrests. You must have a lawyer. You are entitled to that paid by Illinois if it is a prison sentence of imprisonment and / he can afford it.
