A colleague recently approached me to ask if her sister would be allowed to book a massage, although it is six months pregnant.
"Of course! There really is no better time. "I replied.
Pregnancy massage is a wonderful way for mothers to relax, rejuvenate, and release some stress their bodies are under for the nine months. Although massage feels great, obviously, there are many other benefits.
The benefits of pregnancy massage (also known as prenatal massage) are in many respects similar to the standard Swedish massage. These benefits include, but are not limited to:
o Promote relaxation and muscle tension relief
Reduction of maximum O pressure and heart
o To improve circulation and lymphatic flow, which encourages the body to release stagnant waste site in the tissue
o Encourage deep breathing and a general sense of wellbeing
o Promote more rapid repair and healing muscle tissue stretched or strained
o Strengthen the immune system by stimulating the body to maintain or return to homeostasis (Optimal balance in the body to better fight against injury or illness)
o The satisfaction of the need to maintain contact
Other benefits reported in women who underwent pregnancy massage:
or Less obstetric and postpartum complications
O Reduction of birth rate premature
or reduction of deliveries or less painful and less days spent
O Reduction of swelling of the hands and feet
or Less back pain and sciatica
Decreased or in cases of postpartum depression and anxiety (due to fewer stress hormones in the blood)
Although any healthy woman can get pregnant massage therapist there are some precautions must meet to ensure that your client is safe during and after massage. From the woman's body is in a state of physical and hormonal changes massage is limited to second and third quarters. This does not mean that women can not receive spa services during the first quarter. Heads of massage, facial or manicure is a great way to relax during this period.
As with any service massage, the therapist must be informed of any health problem prophetic. This is particularly important during pregnancy. The circumstances of pregnancy massage should not be performed, including hypertension, diabetes, fever, unusual abdominal pain or vomiting, or malignant condition. Varicose veins and swelling are other conditions that the therapist should be considered before the massage, whether the service can still be done in a security, despite these. Some standard precautions, the therapist refrained from any pressure deeper and avoid the heat in order not fetal blood. Some pressure points on the body and feet also be avoided because they are related to the promotion of contractions and premature labor. By taking precautions before, during and after pregnancy massage, most customers will not have problems, you can relax and enjoy massage without concerns.
Pregnancy massage at a spa is well designed to accommodate the pregnant woman at any time during the second and third trimester. Before the massage, the therapist will prepare the special treatment room for mother-to-be. special pregnancy cushions are used to allow the mother lying on her back and belly, no matter how far is long. For pregnant women, which in itself is a luxury. The therapist will instruct the client on how to lie on the cushions to ensure total support and comfort. Once the massage is in progress, the therapist will provide special attention to areas of tension or discomfort during or even developed before pregnancy. It is the perfect time to take a deep breath, enjoy the tactile sensation of food, and let stress melt away. Often soft music, dim lights and warm clothes to provide the mother to relax in their environment.
Upon receiving a massage during pregnancy is highly attractive offered one hour massage once a month, or sometimes even two or three before giving birth, can do wonders for the health of the mother and child. Massage pregnant woman is a process Beautiful – a joy for the mother-to-be, and an honor for the therapist.
