MS Access 2007 – Save new record in the table, but not the shape of the envelope?
Hello, I have a database that contains all employee records and I went into the details of a new employee, but when I go out of form, he recorded all the information in the linked table, but not the way! The file is gone when I returned the form. I checked the field properties in the form and everything seems to refer to table. Please someone can help me before launching my "Access for Dummies" book of the office window! Thank you.
When you return to the form that are open or acFormEdit acFormAdd (or not)? If you open it as an "add" then every time you open the form, will be empty. If you open the "Edit" or "ReadOnly" is open to the general database is the first registration. To open a particular record, you must open the form and specify the "where" parameter in the open declaration.
