Legally, I can give my name and phone number seized from the original owners of a dog that I adopted?
Sterling has the recently adopted a dog gave my name and phone number to the original owners of the dog that I adopted. The owners now are calling me at least one or two times a day. Just want to know if they are allowed to provide such information without my permission. I went through the legal process to get the dog, the money paid waited a week to see if someone asked, and they have always given my information. Are they wrong?
Yes they were wrong. You must verify their individual city, but most likely illegal. If you do not want these people to contact you, I would tell them not to communicate with you and if they persist, then you have to take legal action to arrest them. You can contact a lawyer if the people continue. You also probably a case against the well-protected invasion of privacy or give your personal information.
