How are the sites of people in search of my personal information?
I looked at my name on the Internet out of curiosity once. I found that I am in various places to find someone with my address, age, and even previous places we lived. I do not use MySpace, Facebook, and I'm usually very stingy about who I give my data too. I told the phone company I can not put in the directory. I'm not involved with any government agency, I'm not even enrolled in any political party. There was an option even more information about me. I guess I have my phone number too. How do these people find places to get my information? Purchased or received free by the government? Of the companies that buy things? The registry office voters in California? The California DMV? Who manages the information about me??
Each time you complete an application for something like a card credit, the company can sell this information to aggregators. Thus, over time, a fairly complete picture of you together. The only way to stop this is to fill out applications and give such information. Whenever possible, do not give your social security number. Otherwise, you can not do.
