Criminal provisions in the public domain?
I wonder, and this may vary among different jurisdictions, whether the provisions of criminal charges are a matter of public interest? For example, if someone has been arrested on a charge, not a minor, do I have the right to know if the person was convicted or innocent? I know that the records are closed juvenile and adult records are sealed, according to circumstances. But if the folder is not "closed" and that the person is a legal adult, then I go to court heard the case and request an application for provision of this person? Thank you.
