In Texas, a private school legally withhold records?
For Texas schools only, a private school can legally refuse to register students for students transferring to public school? If the school did not specify a policy in their enrollment agreement and the family has tried to create a plan payment without resolution, what are the options?
Yes, of course, if you have not paid. They did not accept a payment plan that was not in the contract. Often is much better business sense to get a wage withholding order and accept payment over an extended period that may or may not appear. Imagine how many people knew they could not pay to escape. (Not that I did it on purpose, but you know what I mean, some.) It really depends School District May be different from Katy Alief and Fort Bend, etc. on how they would handle the situation. The best thing to do is contact the school district and ask them. Take all documents you have, newsletters, standardized tests, etc in the recording site, and ask what to do. Good luck!
