background check question?

So I volunteer as an Assistant Professor from A to school on a Saturday. I 18, and seem to have to get a background check. When I was 17 years or if I've done some bad things, but I've never gone to court, I was put through a "contribution process and my case was handled "informally but I think I had a juvenile record. If the school finds out what I'm going to be expelled from school and community … So this brings me to my question, if they do background checks on me, these things will happen even if minor and I went through the intake? I live in Rhode Island. http://www.courts.ri.gov/family/intake.htm low, the number 3. simple "yes" or "no" with an explanation please

Who says it all. No records are sealed and can not be used against him as an adult.
