In Rhode Island, it is illegal to record a conversation face to face with a minor?
My cousin is 17 years between his parents divorced. I your mother is going to blackmail against his father and I want to record a face to face used as evidence in court. I'm afraid it might not be legal in RI.
If you record the conversation, as far as I know, the Federal government speaking, there is no law against it. I think it becomes a problem when done by telephone.
