Where I can find the police reports or arrest reports in Texas?
It may be too early to find them, but I searched on the Internet for hours trying to find the records, police reports or arrest in Austin, Texas, July 11, 2009 and July 12, 2009. Do you have any idea where I can go to find all the information to the police reports and / or arrest reports? I do not live in Texas but a friend of mine was arrested and only I want to know what the details of the report have been? Can you help me?
You can not get the arrest report. There are privacy issues. Your friend has not been convicted. Many people are arrested for minor things, where the only connection is the arrest report. You can contact Austin Police Records Division within a month with a detained person's name, place and date of incident. A report for a fee, if we did. You can enter any sensitive or the victim's identifying information, if necessary.
