I am currently in college last year to come. When I was 16 years that have been arrested and convicted for being in a fight, which was self-defense on my part, however, both sides of the alleged incident have been convicted and served 10 days of service Community. I am very concerned about finding a job after graduation and if this affects my market value of a company. Most companies do not hire any every person with a criminal record. Will never leave my files? It was about six years, I'm from New York? Can you apply this on my record? never die? Not I had no problems since. I was charged as an adult, not a minor.
Those who say a load of adults (even if they were minors at the time load) never leaves your record is correct. Two other ideas, however. First since I was young, you can ask the conviction erased (erased) from your file. This will require that you hire a lawyer. The judge has the discretion to cancel or not. Furthermore, employers (except for government procurement those for jobs that require security) may ask if you have been convicted of a crime. From your description, it is a good chance that you have been convicted of a crime rather than a crime. This means that you can honestly answer "no" to the crime in question. Good luck to you.
